  TMA UPDATE​

We noticed a little hitch with the TMA administration which was also confirmed by ​students from some study centers​. We are trying to ensure that all the issues raised are addressed in such a way that ​integrity is ensured​. TMA timeline is been drawn as suggested by some faculties and other stakeholders and ​will be released before weekends​. Students can then continue with their by TMAs soon after that.

  Abuja – ‎The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has urged the Federal Government to fulfill to its promise of resolving the faceoff between the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and Council of Legal Education (CLE).       NANS hailed the effort of the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mr Abubakar Malami for initiating the resolution. The association made the commendation in a statement signed by its Senate President, Taiwo Bamigbade, in Abuja on Monday.    Malami made the promise when the Vice Chancellor of NOUN, Prof. Abdalla Adamu, paid him a courtesy visit in his office. NOUN solicits 1m learning tablets Chinese partners to improve education The National Open University of Nigeria, (NOUN) on Monday solicited from its Chines partners, one million learning tablets to advance online education in the institution. Prof. Abdalla Adamu, the Vice-Chancellor (VC) of NOUN, solicited for the support at a 5-day opening ceremony regional workshop on Using Online Learning and Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) to Promote Quality Higher Education in Abuja. The workshop was organised by UNESCO in collaboration with NOUN and other partners with 35 participants drawn from Sierra Leone, Morocco, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, Benin Republic, Nigeria and other West African countries.
