12 TIPS TO REMAIN POOR

TIPS ON HOW TO REMAIN POOR   1. Never wake up early. Keep stretching and turning in bed until you get too hungry to continue dozing. If there are no bed bugs, why hurry to get up?   2. Never plan how to spend your money. Whenever you get money, start spending it right away and when it's finished, you try to count and recall how you spent it.  3. Don't think of saving until you have real big money. How can you save when you earn so little? Those telling you to save are not sympathetic to your burning needs. . 4. Don't engage in activities usually reserved for the "uneducated". How can you, a graduate, engage in petty trade, network marketing or home-based production? That's for people who never went to school!  5. Don't think of starting a business until an angel comes from heaven and gives you capital. How do they expect you to invest before you get millions? Even though more than half the businesses in your town were started with lit...

Image
Afoo Reevo Appreciation Letter to Great IFE students , ANSA members , NANS The fact is, when men carry the same ideals in their hearts, nothing can isolate them – neither prison walls nor the sod of cemeteries. For a single memory, a single spirit, a single idea, a single conscience, a single dignity will sustain them all – Fidel Castro To start with, it must be noted that the University authorities and students have always stood in constant opposition against each other, because the former are in office to defend certain policies to include that of the Paymasters(Government)in Aso Rock, while the students are also there to defend and protect their interests and welfare. On the 29th of March, following the release of OAU5 that were illegally arrested by the University Security. On their release from prison, I alongside other students came to celebrate these students who stood to defend the legendary and revolutionary history of the Great Ife Students’ Union only for us to discover that...

About Distance Learning Centre, University of Ibadan

While the idea of creating a centre for distance learning at the University of Ibadan had been floating around since 1972, the first programme that offered ‘external studies’ was introduced only in 1988. Back then, there were only three courses: Adult Education, Guidance & Counselling, and Teacher Education. The modern Distance Learning Centre was created out of the old Centre for External Studies in 2002. Since then, it has educated thousands of students. You can find the head office at the Morohundiya complex in Idi-Ose, along Moniya Rd. However, there are also centres in Bodija,Awolowo Rd., Old Bodija, Ibadan and Lagos, Opebi Rd., Ikeja, Lagos. That is all we can tell you about the available distance learning courses at the University of Ibadan. If you have any questions, we recommend you contact the Distance Learning Centre directly via the channels we have mentioned above. Good luck!
